Radar-Based Speed Measurement of Sport Projectiles
Bezděk, David ; Široký, Adam (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with a proposal and implementation of application, that extracts speed information of sport projectiles from radar data. Firstly, there is description of radar, Doppler's effect and especially continuous-wave radar. Then the bachelor’s thesis continues with signal processing issues, after which speed can be calculated. In next part there is a describtion of collecting real data and their evaluation. In the last part there is a summary of the thesis, eventual use of the application and it's possible extensions.
Aerospace - Visual Identification of Aircraft System Failure Modes
Kadlčík, Stanislav ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Chudý, Peter (advisor)
In this bachelor's thesis I deal with recognition of failure state of aircraft through camera recorder. The point of this thesis is to increase safety of air traffic by adding some extra safety elements which are designed to inform the pilot about abnormal states. First I describe object detection and choice of suitable markers for reliable detection. In the next part I add details about implementation of recognition in OpenCV library and describe my own AirplaneRecognization library.
